The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show is one of the biggest classic car shows in the UK, welcoming a whopping 72,000 visitors over the 3 days; this was definitely not one to be missed!
With halls covering over 1 million square feet there was room for over 3000 iconic, and in some cases super rare, classic motors…now that’s a lot to look at! Cars on display were from both marques such as Mercedes, Bentley and Alfa Romeo and a huge amount of car clubs spanning the length of Britain and beyond.
One of Sam’s personal highlights was the Porsche marque, celebrating 70 years of Porsche in the only way they know how…some show stopping restored cars! Sam’s favourite was the fully restored Porsche 964.
Another show stopping car, or we like to think so, was a Nissan Skyline detailed by Johny B’s using a range of Sam’s Detailing Products. Sam’s Rubber and Trim Dressing, Ceramic Boost and Exterior Detailer were used and the car was also holding Sam’s Signature Paste Wax to give that Show Car Shine! It managed to place within Lancaster Insurance’s top 20 show cars.
Classic Motor Show was a breath of fresh air in some ways and the perfect way to end show season. It was nice to see exhibitors from a range of businesses from handmade watch making to Carvolution’s Your Life in Cars bespoke illustrations. A true amalgamation of car lovers!
